‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ star Tommie Lee found herself in legal trouble once again after being arrested in Miami. The 39-year-old was taken into custody on battery charges following an altercation at LIV Nightclub in Miami Beach, where a man accused her of assaulting him.

According to the arrest report, the unidentified victim claimed that Lee approached him near the hotel’s security area. She tried to hand him something, but he declined. This refusal allegedly led Lee to become aggressive, hurling curses and threatening the man with violence, saying she would have him killed. When he continued to ignore her, Lee reportedly escalated the situation by poking and waving her hands in his face.

The victim managed to restrain Lee until police arrived. According to reports, the hotel security footage backed his account, showing Lee’s aggressive behavior. She was then arrested for misdemeanor battery and is currently held at the Turner Guilford
Knight Correctional Center. Details about her bail are not yet available.

This incident is not the first legal entanglement for Tommie Lee, who has a history of criminal charges dating back to her teenage years. She has faced multiple arrests over the years, including charges of child abuse and assault.

In August 2023, Lee was arrested for disorderly conduct and cocaine possession with intent to sell after an altercation with a restaurant employee. She was booked into a Miami jail at the time. Following her release, Lee denied she was doing drugs.

Her representative issued a statement, saying, “They chose to handcuff and arrest her on grounds of drug possession, despite the fact that the ‘drugs’ were, in fact, her friend’s epilepsy medication. They seized upon this as an excuse for her arrest when no other valid reason was evident.”
