The much-anticipated Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight has been postponed, Netflix, the streaming partner, announced Friday in a post on X. The fight, which was supposed to take place at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, now stands postponed over Tyson’s recent ‘ulcer flare up’ while boarding a flight in Miami.

The tickets for the event went on sale starting May 16. As a result, several people have already booked their seats at the AT&T Stadium. Notably, the ticket prices start at $359, going as high as $16,097. As a result, with the event postponed, it will not be possible for many to change dates and attend the fight. “Unfortunately Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will not faceoff on July 20 as planned. Tyson’s recent ulcer flare up
has limited his ability to train fully for the next few weeks,” Netflix wrote in the post.

What Happened To Mike Tyson?

Tyson began feeling nauseous and dizzy during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles. His representatives attributed these symptoms to an ulcer flare-up. After consulting medical professionals, Tyson was advised to engage in minimal to light training for the next few weeks before resuming full training without limitations. Consequently, Tyson and Paul both agreed to postpone their engagement.
