Ryan Garcia on Wednesday sparked retirement speculations after he posted ‘I am officially retired’ on social media. The 25-year-old said in a post on X several things he is ‘getting hit’ by – his mother’s cancer, divorce and testing positive for Ostarine.

Garcia also hit out at people on social media for posting negative things about him, and Devin Haney for requesting the NYSAC to overturn his victory in the April 2024 bout.

“Mom has cancer, I’m being sued, My supplements were tainted, Going thru a divorce, Always GETTING SHIT TALKED on the internet FOR YEARS, Devin asking for my victory to be taken away, I’m getting hit with everything,” Garcia further added.

Garcia tested positive for Ostarine following his fight with Haney. Angel Memo Heredia Hernandez, an antidoping consultant, anticipates that the New York State Athletic Commission will impose a “harsh punishment” on Garcia.

In early 2024, professional boxer Ryan Garcia divorced his wife, Andrea Celina. They had been together since 2019 and had two children, a daughter named Bela and a son named Henry. Garcia filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Meanwhile, Garcia won a majority decision against Haney on April 204. However, Haney has formally requested that the New York State Athletic Commission overturn his loss to a disqualification due to Garcia’s positive test for a banned substance.

Garcia boasts an impressive record with 25 wins, one loss, and no draws. Notably, he has achieved 20 knockouts out of his 25 victories, with a knockout ratio of 80%. Over the course of his career, Garcia has fought a total of 112 rounds.
