Illegal Alien Brutally Kills Young Woman in New York on Her 21st Birthday

A young woman has been brutally killed in New York by a violent illegal alien, according to authorities.

Joselyn Jhoana Toaquiza was suffocated to death in Syracuse on her 21st birthday, police revealed.

Police arrested suspect Jhon Moises Chacaguasay-Ilbis, 21, for murdering Toaquiza on June 18.

The Syracuse Police Department charged the suspect with second-degree murder and concealment of a human corpse.

A source from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently told the New York Post both Chacaguasay-Ilbis and Toaquiza were in the U.S. illegally.

Both Chacaguasay-Ilbis and Toaquiza are from Ecuador.

In a statement to The Post-Standard of Syracuse, prosecutor Alphonse Williams said the suspect was staying at an Airbnb at the time of the murder.

He reportedly traveled to see Toaquiza on her 21st birthday.

Eerie surveillance footage shows the pair walking into the Airbnb at around 4:30 pm on June 18.

A few hours later, Chacaguasay-Ilbis was caught on security camera carrying a slumped-over Toaquiza on his back.

Williams was told Chacaguasay-Ilbis and Toaquiza went to primary school together in Ecuador.

A source told the New York Post that Toaquiza fled her native country to escape an abusive lover.

However, the identity of the ex-partner is unknown.

Williams alleges Chacaguasay-Ilbis buried Toaquiza’s body in a shallow grave.

He then took a Greyhound bus to the “sanctuary” of New York City.

It wasn’t until Saturday, four days after she was killed, that Toaquiza’s remains were found.

An investigation was launched after Toaquiza’s family reported her missing,

Chacaguasay-Ilbis was charged with second-degree murder and concealment of a human corpse after he turned himself in Tuesday.

On Thursday, he appeared in Syracuse City Court.

However, he attempted to defend his actions while pleading with the judge.

He told the court that he couldn’t remember the alleged killing because he was too drunk.

The Syracuse Police Department said the suspect is being held in the Onondaga County Justice Center.

The investigation is ongoing.

Chacaguasay-Ilbis’ arrest follows an alarming spate of recent crimes tied to migrants who were vetted and released by federal authorities after crossing the southern border illegally in recent years.

Turkish migrant, Sakir Akkan, 21, was arrested in Albany last week after he allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl he forced into his car and threatened to beat with a metal pole.

Akkan crossed the southern border illegally on Nov. 5 last year into San Diego, where border agents released him with a court date set for next February due to a lack of bed space, sources recently told The New York Post.
