Following Democrat President Joe Biden’s trainwreck debate performance last week, a growing number of Democrats and corporate media outlets are calling on him to step down.
This comes after years of gaslighting about Biden’s mental state from his party, the media, and White House officials.
While many on the Left are struggling to justify arguments that Biden is up to the job of POTUS, some are still attempting to convince the American people not to believe their lying eyes.
Democrat Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is among those choosing the gaslighting route.
During a Sunday interview with CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union,” Pelosi defended Biden’s debate performance.
While slurring her words, Pelosi insisted that Democrats are not “enablers” as she attempted to claim that President Donald Trump “has dementia.”
Bash asked Pelosi if Biden should step aside given how glaringly obvious it’s becoming to the majority of voters that Biden lacks the mental fitness needed to serve as president.
“This is an opportunity for Joe Biden to go out there and show he has the stamina and the rest,” Pelosi said.
“And, by the way, while the press — and, for some reason, they don’t — there are health care professionals who think that Trump has dementia, that his connection — his thoughts do not go together, not only that he just lies; he doesn’t even know the truth.”
“So, if we’re just talking about mental acuity, let’s be fair about it,” she continued.
“I don’t think Tom Friedman thinks that Donald Trump should be president of the United States.
“And while he may be saying we’re enablers, we see Joe Biden up close,” Pelosi said, slurring her words.
“We know how attuned he is to the issues, how informed he is.”
“When I debate with him about legislation — and not debate, but discuss it with him.
“He’s right there,” she concluded.
“So in any case, it was a bad night.
Pelosi then appeared to suffer a brain freeze and she struggled to complete her sentence.
“Let’s not sugarcoat that,” she eventually said after a pause.
“It was a bad night.
“It was a great presidency.”

Since last week’s debate, Biden has been facing growing calls to step down.
Powerful Hollywood Democrat donors are now threatening to pull funding from President Joe Biden’s campaign unless he drops out of the race.

The 81-year-old Democrat president slurred and spoke incoherently, sounded weak, and appeared to freeze up.
Biden stumbled over his words several times and couldn’t even deliver his closing remarks.
Even the staunchest Democrats couldn’t deny that Biden crumbled while attempting to spar with President Donald Trump.
This fact has sent leftists of all stripes into a panic.
However, Hollywood donors, speaking anonymously to Variety, are threatening to turn off the money spigot if he doesn’t “drop out.”
Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris has been officially called upon to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Biden.
Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), a leading House Republican, filed a resolution in Congress urging Harris to “discharge the duties and powers of his office.”
