Barack & Michelle Obama Endorse Kamala Harris with ‘Phone Call’

Vice President Kamala Harris has received another critical endorsement for her presidential campaign during a “phone call,” this time from Barack and Michelle Obama.

It comes after the Obamas issued a statement in support of Democrat President Joe Biden ending his campaign on Sunday.

When “Biden” announced her was dropping out of the race, he quickly followed up by endorsing Harris as his replacement.

However, the Obamas provoked speculation when they backed Biden’s move to drop out but stopped short of endorsing Harris.

As THAIMBC News reported, Barack Obama was “very upset” that Biden endorsed Harris and the ex-POUTUS believes the VP cannot beat President Donald Trump in November.

Now it appears the Obamas have reluctantly endorsed Harris amid mounting speculation over their failure to do so.

Early Friday morning the Harris campaign released a video of Harris apparently taking a “phone call” from the Obamas.

However, the call sounds suspiciously like a recording rather than a genuine phone conversation.

A video of the “call” was shared by Harris on her campaign Friday morning.

The video was filmed Wednesday in Indianapolis, where Harris traveled to address the Zeta Phi Beta sorority.

“Kamala!” the brief clip begins, with President Obama’s distinct voice coming over the VP’s cell phone.

“Hey there!” chimes in Michelle.

As Harris walks through the event venue toward her SUV, she gushes, “Ohh hi, you’re both together. It’s good to hear you both.”

“I can’t have this phone call without saying to my girl Kamala, I am proud of you,” Michelle says.

“This is going to be historic.”

“We called to say, Michelle and I, couldn’t be prouder to endorse you and to do everything we can to get you through this election and into the Oval Office,” the former president chimes in.

Harris thanked both Obamas before she got off the phone.

“I just want to tell you that the words you have spoken and the friendship that you have given over all these years mean more than I can express,” she said.

“So thank you both, it means so much.

“And we’re going to have some fun with it too, aren’t we?” she asked.

This is the second time this week Harris has received a major endorsement over the phone.

Earlier this week, during Harris’s press conference, Biden apparently called in to show his support.

However, Biden’s voice sounded more like a recording and there were no two-way conversations.

While claiming Biden was on the phone, Harris almost referred to the “call” as a recording before correcting herself.

The suspicious call came after Biden endorsed Harris in a post on X.

However, Biden’s account has long been known to be run by handlers/aides rather than the president himself.

Ahead of the Obamas’ endorsement announcement, President Trump weighed in on the rumors of an internal rift among top Democrats.

The Trump campaign noted that Obama was displeased that the party coalesced around Harris.

By Monday, enough delegates had endorsed Harris that she had locked up the nomination without going through the primary process.

“There is a strong sense by many in the Democrat Party – namely Barack Hussein Obama – that Kamala Harris is a Marxist fraud who cannot beat President Trump, and they are still holding out for someone ‘better,’” said Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung Thursday night.
