Senator Rand Paul raises concerns about censorship and free speech, touching on recent court rulings and legislative proposals. He suggests laws to protect First Amendment rights, criticizes the Kids’ Online Safety Act for stifling speech, and slams social media’s arbitrary moderation.

“A lot of what we know, though, is because Elon Musk spent 44 billion on Twitter back to I loved his comment when he says I didn’t spend 44 billion on Twitter, I spent $44 billion to protect free speech. And thank goodness he did.”

Paul stresses consumer choice and holding government agencies accountable for censoring speech. Additionally, he questions the Secret Service’s handling of the attempted assassination of former President Trump, calling for disciplinary action.
