A new report reveals that billionaire George Soros has spent $117 million to elect and control liberal county prosecutors, steering them towards radical left-wing policies.

A new report has uncovered a vast scheme by billionaire George Soros to reshape the U.S. justice system by spending approximately $117 million to elect and control dozens of left-leaning county prosecutors. These prosecutors, often referred to as district attorneys, represent the government in criminal cases and have significant power in their respective jurisdictions. The report, published after a year-long investigation by the Media Research Center (MRC), details how Soros-funded nonprofits regularly coordinate with these prosecutors to implement policies that are soft on crime, target law enforcement, and refuse to enforce certain laws.

The MRC investigation found that Soros’s influence extends deeply into the offices of these prosecutors, with Soros-funded nonprofits dictating policies, staffing, media narratives, and even lobbying efforts. The report states that Soros dedicated at least $40 million to help elect 126 prosecutors and an additional $77,663,316 to support leftist nonprofits that guide these officials once they are in office.

Public records obtained by MRC, including 7,785 pages of internal communications from Soros-backed prosecutors, reveal how these district attorneys were directed to manipulate laws on issues such as drugs, abortion, illegal immigration, election integrity, capital punishment, and even childhood gender transitions. One of the key organizations involved is Fair and Just Prosecution (FJP), a nonprofit advocating for a justice system based on fairness and equity. FJP is a sponsored project of the Tides Center, another Soros-funded organization committed to advancing social justice.

The report highlights extensive communication between FJP and Soros-backed prosecutors, including 508 interactions with San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin’s office over 18 months. In Texas, five county prosecutors collaborated closely, even creating a group chat to coordinate their refusal to enforce laws they deemed inconsistent with their political beliefs. These elected officials represent over seven million Texans, and the documents show they strategized to undermine political opponents, including the state’s Republican attorney general.

The MRC report also reveals that at least 30 percent of the U.S. population currently lives under the jurisdiction of Soros-backed prosecutors, many of whom have signed pledges to adhere to Soros’s priorities. These pledges were often coordinated by Soros-funded organizations, with 123 of the 126 prosecutors signing on to various joint statements and commitments.

In addition to his influence over prosecutors, Soros has also invested heavily in anti-police movements. The report shows that Soros spent at least $35 million in one year following George Floyd’s death to support groups that accused the American criminal justice system of systemic racism. His Open Society Foundations also dedicated $220 million to racial justice and Black empowerment initiatives in the aftermath of Floyd’s death.

The MRC report concludes by warning of the extensive control Soros has over the U.S. justice system through his financial influence, raising concerns about the long-term impact of these leftist policies on public safety and the rule of law.
