Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate Nicole Shanahan has revealed that the independent presidential candidate is considering plans to “join forces with Donald Trump” to stop the Democrats from winning the election in November.
Shanahan made the comments during an interview published on Tuesday.
According to Shanahan, RFK Jr. is currently weighing up two options, both of which seek to help President Trump beat Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris and her radical communist running mate Tim Walz.
During her interview on the Impact Theory podcast, which was recorded on Monday, Shanahan said:
“There’s two options that we’re looking at and one is staying in, forming that new party, but we run the risk of a Kamala Karris and Walz presidency because we draw votes from Trump.
“Or we walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump and you know, we walk away from that and we explain to our base why we’re making this decision,” Shanahan continued.

It comes as polling suggests that some swing voters are likely to back Kennedy over Trump, rather than Harris.
In a report on Kennedy’s impact in swing states,” CNBC noted:
“Some polls suggest that the Democratic nominee, Vice President Harris, would be stronger against Trump in swing states when Kennedy is included as a candidate, as opposed to when Kennedy is not an option.”
In a lengthy post on X last week, RFK Jr. stated that he would not support Harris and had a plan to defeat her.
Instead, Kennedy, who comes from a family of lifelong Democrats, claims he has a plan to beat Harris.
“VP Harris’s Democratic Party would be unrecognizable to my father and uncle and I cannot reconcile it with my values,” he wrote.
“The Democratic Party of RFK and JFK was the party of civil liberties and free speech.
“VP Harris‘s is the party of censorship, lockdowns, and medical coercion.
“Kennedy Democrats were anti-war,” he noted.
“Kamala‘s is riddled with neocon warmongers.
“The RFK/JFK dems were allies of Main Street, cops, firefighters, and working people.
“VP Harris’s is the Party of Big Tech, Big Pharma, and Wall Street.
“My dad and uncle’s party was the champion of voting rights and fair elections.
“VP Harris’s is the party of lawfare, disenfranchisement, and the coronation of its candidates by corporate donors and party elites.
“I’ve used our nation’s courts to prosecute corporations who hurt black Americans.
“VP Harris used our nation’s courts to mercilessly prosecute black Americans and exploit them for their labor.
“My father and uncle prided themselves on their skills at debate and their ability to articulate a coherent vision for our country.
“VP Harris is scared to debate and can’t survive an unscripted interview.
“Instead of outlining a vision, she relies on middle school tactics – memes, forged headlines, infantile slogans (Joy!), and name calling (“Republicans are weird.“)
“I’ve spent years battling government corruption and lies.
“VP Harris spent years gaslighting Americans about the health of our Commander in Chief.
“I have no plans to endorse Kamala Harris for President.
“I do have a plan to defeat her.”

Kennedy did not reveal his plan, however.
Later that day, he posted a tweet that slammed the Biden administration’s efforts to keep him off the ballot.
“The DNC wants to win this election in court—rather than win over the American people,” he wrote.
