Meta employees have been caught admitting in an undercover video that the company’s Facebook and Instagram social media platforms target and censor conservative content to promote left-wing narratives and help the Democrats.
James O’Keefe’s undercover journalism outlet OMG Media recorded the staffers on hidden cameras.
They were filmed admitting that Facebook censors pro-Trump posts and disproportionately targets conservatives with “fact checks.”
They company also targets posts critical of the Democrats and Kamala Harris, which the tech giant claims are “misinformation.”
According to a bombshell undercover report published by OMG Media, three Meta employees believe that the company is biased against Republicans.
The roles of the employees at Facebook and its parent company Meta include software engineer, data scientist, and machine learning engineer.
Matthew Fowler, a Meta software engineer, told one of O’Keefe’s undercover journalists on a fake date that when they see pro-Trump content, they “investigate” it.
“Then it goes just up to another team to take [the post] down,” Fowler revealed.
He claimed the majority of the “disinformation” his team observes is from conservatives.
Fowler clarified that Meta’s “disinformation” investigations are dependent on the corporate media for their verification process.
He revealed that content that doesn’t align with the narratives of the liberal corporate media is automatically flagged as “disinformation.”
“The news is going to do their job, and then based on what the outlets say…you have to trust that,” he insisted.

Meta machine learning engineer Plamen Dzhelepov admitted to an OMG journalist that Facebook is outwardly biased against conservative voters.
He admitted that Facebook takes measures to censor the free speech rights of conservatives by demoting their posts on the platform.
The employee boasted that “Meta has the right to suppress anything.”
He added that the company mainly targets “crazy* conspiracy right-wing people,” according to the report.
Explaining how the censorship process works, Dzhelepov said:
“It’s either censored or it says a thing, where it says, ‘This is disinformation, it’s probably fake’ under the post.”
Additionally, Michael Zoorob, a Facebook data scientist, detailed how the social media company’s “fact-checking” process works.
He admitted that “the vast majority of what fact-checkers label as false is shared by conservatives.”
Zoorob was also asked about Meta censoring the New York Post’s Hunter Biden Laptop story on Facebook at the direction of the FBI.
“We just downranked it” to make the post less visible in users’ feeds, Zoorob explained.
In a separate report released Wednesday by OMG Media, a senior Meta software engineer revealed that the company demotes posts critical of Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
The employee even gloated that Facebook boosts posts favorable to Democrats.
Meta has not yet publicly commented on the allegations made by their employees.
